... and may the Fourth be with you!
I thought I'd join in with the celebrations for Star Wars day... why not? I mean, technically it's now the fifth of May, but hey, better late than never! And I need to stay with the geeky stereotype, I am a computer scientist after all!
Anyway, it has been a while. My days are always busy and I always have to compromise certain activities in order to get work done, and I guess I haven't had the time for blogging or Twitter. Anyway, it's exam time again and I'm back to procrastinating, woo! :D
Since the last time I posted I don't think an awful lot has happened really. I've also made a few decisions.... I'm not going to do Camp America or Erasmus this year because I'd rather spend my time over the Summer working and catching up with friends. I need to earn a lot more money for this year since it was a bit of a struggle at times this year. I have so many friends that I've lost contact with since starting uni as well, so it would be nice to catch up.
Another thing - today was my last day of first year!! Well, technically I still have to go in to hand in course work and for exams, but today was the last day of lectures. I can't believe how fast this year has gone, it flew by! This semester in particular felt really short, and this year has been amazing. The people I have met, the skills I have learned, the things I've experienced and the options that have been made available to me... well, I can't complain.
And not only have I had a great year in uni, I've had a great year in all other respects. I'm closer to my little sister more than ever, and I'm closer to my family now that I've moved out. It's much easier to get on well with my parents when I only see them in small doses, haha. I'm very close to my friends Caggie and Nicole and I'm currently looking for a house with them. I rarely see my sister Clodagh but she's in Glasgow for uni and I know she's enjoying herself. I'm also seeing my nanny and aunt more often which is important considering I've seen them very little over the entire year. They're both very important to me so I really, really need to remember to make time for them even when I'm busy.
Anyway, enough of the jibber jabber for now, it's 2:18am!
As usual, thank you for reading!
Ais.
