I took this picture around this time last year. It just reminds me of the nice day I had the day I took it. I love pictures that have stories behind them.
This day last month I moved into Halls. Scary stuff.
So yearh, the past month has been hectic. I think I'm finally in a routine, although I still think it will take some time to get used to some aspects of living away from home and in Belfast. I will never get used to having everything so close to me. I have a shop at the end of my street. Where I come from you have to drive to the nearest shop which is a good 5 miles away.
Also, work is kicking in for my course, proper work. At the start we were just sort of getting used to things and we just sat and listened a lot. But now in our practicals we have tasks to do and at home assignments to complete. This is the start of my 5 year degree. It's weird.
I watched this movie last night. I may have screamed once or five times... I'd recommend it. I'm a huge fan of scary movies and I can be quite critical of them sometimes, but I liked this. They hit the nail on the head by creating a movie which the audience can believe. A believable storyline is what makes people frightened, they think about what would happen if it happened to them. One of the few other films that does a good job of this is Paranormal Activity, which is one of my favourite movies. The second one was just as good I thought, stuff the people who didn't like it.
Last night I also went out for dinner with family. We went to a Chinese restaurant but it wasn't the food that made the night, it was 1. that Clo was home from Glasgow for the weekend which was awesome and 2. we got the giggles in the middle of our dinner. Probably one of the funniest moments I've ever experienced with my family. My sister said something not really funny at all, my dad laughed too loud accidentally and we spend the next 5 minutes laughing at his reaction. The best kind of laughter is the kind that makes you cry :D Luckily the place was nearly empty, we only got a few funny looks.
Anyway, heading to bed as it's getting late!
Thanks for reading!
